Protect Our Roots! Fundraiser for the Greenwood Neighbourhood Explosion Relief Fund

Protect Our Roots! Fundraiser for the Greenwood Neighbourhood Explosion Relief Fund

On Sunday March 13th, at Naked City Brewery & Tap House in Greenwood, we will be gathering to drink beer and raise funds for our neighbourhood's Explosion Relief Fund. Originally the fundraiser was for the Taproot Theatre, but after witnessing the state of the neighborhood following the gas leak explosion, the Taproot Theatre and the people organizing the fundraiser felt the immediate need was to help the other local business effected by the explosion.

Patrons who wish to donate directly to the Taproot Theatre will still be able to. But the main focus of Sunday's event will now be support the neighborhood as a whole. The event is from 5 to 9pm. Registration for the live Art Auction and silent Art Auction portion will begin at 5 p.m. The live auction will start around 6 o'clock. 100% of proceeds of art sold will go toward rebuilding the Greenwood neighbourhood. Our beloved Naked City Brewery & Tap House will also be serving a specially crafted IPA dedicated to the Taproot Theatre. $1 from the sale of each pint of this beer will go to Taproot as well.

Monetary donations are happily accepted via cash, check and credit card.

If you cannot make the event and want to donate directly to taproot theatre click here.

Thanks for your support! It's been a challenging week for the Seattle Art Scene.
