The weekend of Emerald City Comicon is honestly a bit of a blur.
The ECCC Live Art Event at the
Crocodile Cafe on Saturday night was fantastic and a little insane. More than 20 artists making art live on the stage - paintings on canvas and wood and live nearly-nude models, comic book collage, drawing, finger painting, drinking, dancing, and perhaps a bit too much fun...

The Comicon the next morning was almost as exciting. There were artists, comics, costumes, and much, much more! I was able to catch up with one of my favourite local fantasy artists,
Cori Dietsch and
Xavier Lopez with the crew from Echo Echo. I talked zombie apocalypse with
David Mack, and met
SMBC's Zach Weiner who struck a hero pose for me and sent me home with a personalised note for a friend who couldn't make the 'Con.

No power in the verse could stop me from having this much fun at the Emerald City Comicon and Live Art Event next year!
Support your local art scene!
Cheers!
