The 1st Thursday Art Walk in Pioneer Square, Thursday, 5 July from 5-8pm. The OK Hotel presents "Personal Mythology," an intriguing collection of new and old works by Seb Barnett. The 2nd Thursday Art Walk in Capitol Hill, Thursday, 12 July from 5-8pm. True Love Gallery is hosting an exciting show this month! "Wunderkammer" will showcase drawings of a botanical, scientific and medical nature. You will also see portraits of those early distinguished men of science, curious objects, medical case study examples and other wonders. The featured artists are Jethaniel Peterka, Larkin Cypher, Laura Hines, Levi Hastings, Michelle Anderst, Redd Walitzki, Scott Dalrymple, Siolo Thompson, and Yvette Endrijautzki. The show will run through August 8th so if you can't make it to our opening night, you will have plenty of opportunity to check out the works!

Starts at 9pm and goes til 2am. The performer will go on around 10.30 and
again
at 11.30, and the artist will be there all night. Come buy art, drinks, hear

and watch a sexy lady dance. "Transmission" happens the 2nd Thursday of

The 2nd Thursday Art Walk in West Seattle, Thursday, 12 July from 6-9pm. Don't miss "Summer Lovin'" (inspired by the life and work of John Travolta) at the Twilight Artist Collective! John Travolta's career as an actor and a figure in popular culture is rich with colorful characters as well as an equally colorful personal history. His popularity has spanned several generations conjuring different images to almost all of those generations. How old you are has an almost direct link to the movies, characters and personal history that you impulsively think of when you think of this man. Featuring: Karl Addison, Joseph Brooks, Lyndsay Brown, Mike Capp, Gavin Carrol, Marty Gordon, Annie Huntley, Kim McCarthy, Lou Pimentel, Sensei23 and Solace Wonder. The 2nd Friday Art Walk in the Greenwood-Phinney neighbourhood, Friday, 13 July from 6-9pm. Urban Light Studios and Echo Echo Gallery have teamed up this month to put on an unprecedented show at the Greenwood Collective: "Between Heaven and Hellboy: Underground, Alternative and Urban Artists Take on Comics, Superheroes and Super Villains!" Join the best and brightest in Seattle’s Underground Art Scene (over 50 artists at last count!) as we celebrate four-color fantasy and history. Judges from various art galleries and comic book websites will help us pick the best artworks and we will have raffles and prizes to give away to the public as well. You won’t want to miss this!
Don't miss the closing reception of "Few and Far," an all woman graffiti collective, at Bherd Studios from 6-10pm! F&F is a movement that brings together talented women
who are involved in graffiti and street art from all over the world. Their
group connects women by creating social and artistic exchange, by showcasing
art on the streets, on walls and in other high profile venues. And they foster
and celebrate the power and expression of female street artists. Importantly,
Few and Far consists of a team of open minded, highly creative, cutting edge
and dedicated every day females. The show is curated by two local members, 179
and Ksera and the line-up includes: Lady Mags, TOOFLY, Meme, Erin Yoshi, DJ
AGANA, Hops, Amanda Lynn, Reds, Siloette, Dime, Ursala Xanthe Young, Erin
Ashford, Gloria Muriel and Rez. The ladies are also creating an installation
mural on the entrance wall to the gallery.
